It is bad. There is deception and trickery involved; never proceed or you will regret it.

They are concealing something from you and lying to you. It is not a suitable marriage. Wait; a better case will be granted to you.

They are lying to you and concealing certain aspects of the deal. You will suffer a loss.

Ayah 71

يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَلْبِسُونَ الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُونَ الْحَقَّ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

Ya ahla alkitabi lima talbisoona alhaqqa bialbatili wataktumoona alhaqqa waantum taAAlamoona

Ye People of the Book! Why do ye clothe Truth with falsehood, and conceal the Truth, while ye have knowledge?
